Is Wedding insurance worth it?

Weather factors
Depending on the cost of the wedding and the location of the venue purchasing wedding insurance is worth considering.  An example of this would be in New England if you are having a beach wedding, we are prone to Hurricanes from late spring throughout the summer. During the winter the Northeast is also prone to blizzards.
Vendors Failure
The photographer, the florist, the DJ or band, the caterer can go out of business.  There is a problem with your transportation (the limo company is double-booked).  Or the reception space goes out of business just weeks before the wedding.
Lost deposits, damaged gifts, ruined dress, lost rings, call to duty, illness.

Cost – average cost is minimal compared to total cost of wedding

A basic insurance policy that covers loss of photos, videos, attire, presents, rings, and deposits usually costs anywhere between $155 and $550, depending on the amount of coverage you want. General liability insurance, which covers up to $1,000,000 for accidents, costs around $185.
